Pet care experience
Hi! We are Jenny & Mark, a couple of bay area natives who love animals. I (Jenny) have 8 years of experience fostering dogs and have been pet sitting for the past 7 years for fun - my heart is so full from all the wonderful cats, dogs, and birds that I’ve met! I volunteered as a dog socializer at San Jose Animal Control Center, walking the newest additions to the shelter and training them with basic things like how to be good on & off leash, sit, down, clicker training, etc, so they become more adoptable. Because of this I especially love working with rescues! <3 We travel too much to have our own pets but still love making as many furry friends as possible 🥰

Jenny (and Mark) are great sitters! When I met up with Jenny prior to leaving my dog with them, Jenny made sure to get to know everything about her - routine, allergies/meds, likes/dislikes, her activity level/drive, etc. My dog can be slow to warm up to new people, but she was immediately comfortable around Jenny — at that point I knew I was leaving her in good hands. While I was away, Jenny was a great communicator, and kept me updated with photos on what they got up to and how Willow was doing. It looked like she had a great time! We’d absolutely book Jenny and Mark again!

Jenny and Mark are GREAT! They are experienced dog sitters. Attentive to our dog's needs and care guide. Provided frequent updates. I'm a nervous dog-parent and was comfortable knowing my pup was in a loving home. Highly recommend!
Jenny & Mark were amazing with my cat Honey! They took great care of her and ensured that she was comfortable and happy at their home. Jenny sent me pictures and updates throughout the day and it was really helpful to know my cat was ok. I also appreciate them accepting my last minute request to book and the convenience of having my cat picked up/dropped off. I would book with them again! 🍯💖🙏

We'll do our best to make your pup as comfortable as can be by following the routine you have set for them and replicating your home environment as much as possible. I love every animal as if they are part of my family and will care for them unconditionally!

Information Jenny Q. would like to know about your pet
We would like to know if your dog is crate trained, how they behave on leash, around other dogs/kids on walks, if they have any behavioral traits - the more information the better. We do not discriminate against dogs for their breed or needs but want to be able to provide the best care possible for your friend, so please take the time to think about this and communicate. We have found that over-communicating is better than the opposite :)
A typical day
Dolores and Duboce are two of my favorite parks for play time. We also live near a dog park with two off-leash gated areas if your doggo is into that. We also love just hanging out at home, curling up on the couch with a good book, and doling out lots of TLC. :)

Availability
My schedule is super flexible, I usually start my day with a run which your dog is welcome to join (please bring a running leash if you have one!). Otherwise I walk for 30-60 minutes to the park in the morning and evening, with a shorter walk in the afternoon. My partner was laid off recently and loves helping with pet care as well. We have a great amount of energy that we can cater to your pups needs :)
